Somewhere between classic and more of the same...

I appreciate the programming chops to make the slick environments and generate enemy skins and music on the fly, but all this randomness just amounts to a lot of variations around, well... more of the same. Not much new or exciting compared to most other bullet hells.

Acutally, played through more. the backgrounds rock, but the ships suffer from a serious case of what we in the "biz" like to call... "programmer art"

But yeah. Like the evolution system, it's different than the "grab the next biggest gun" scheme.

It's a cannon game. That's all there is to it.
Good for a laugh.

for some reason none of the achievements are unlocking, though...

lagged like crazy.

but the five-or-ten frames that i managed to see looked awesome.

i saw the preview from Least I Could Do, cool that i caught it so early!

(and if one more person complains that it's "mario like"... just be glad it's not another sprite movie, kay?)

hit areas messing me up.

if it wasn't for the fact that you're using bounding boxes to see if the block is hitting stuff... the game would be less annoying. and more fun.

i've died with at least 20 pixels between me and an actual hit.

starting a generation of narutards...

doodling fanfics in the backs of notebooks.

great intro to drawing... chances of a 3rd?

not bad...

one thing... the particles (the ones trailing the ship) do not wrap around the outside, they run across the screen instead.

fix that, and you're golden!

Cheers man all feedback is appreciated =D

meh

laggy as anythings. you've added too many filters ontop of filters!!

remove a few of those, and add a preloader, then you've got yourself a game!

TheComet responds:

yeah I have alot of filters going, but I also have about 3 or 4 more enemies going than I need to atm, so the real deal will run fine.
as for the preloader, I'll have to figure a way to get one from here at home over to school and get it working in CS3 (I can't work on this at home since I have MX 2004, sucks :/ )

yup... that's a game.

it was, kinda fun. i'm not too good at the wario-ware genre, but... that's me.
it lagged HORRIBLEEH on my computer, but then again, so does everything else on the portal.

i noticed that on the "shoot the lines", the game actually slowed down at higher multipliers! you've got something very innficient with how they see work.

and, yes to "spliffyUK", you can loose eventually, it just takes the right multiplier. you need to add more calculations!!!

not bad

intro's a bit long, and the music's annoying,

but a great intro to web coding.

ZiggyZack99 responds:

thanks

not bad.

a good screensaver kind of thing.

its not a fractal, but... whatever.

stroke path... the funniest name for a tool EVER. i have the hand-eye coordination of a monkey with too much caffeine.
